I love informal photoshoots.
The day before flying up north out of Vancouver, as I was driving home from a short shopping trip, I called home to warn one of the students to get ready for a shoot. But the time I got home he was singing in the shower, and other house guests were readying themselves as stylists, pose-setters and photographic assistants.
He had shown us all a photo he liked at supper the previous evening, and the whole shoot was based on that one photo. Funnily enough none of our final shots looked anything like that one though, but one of the assistants googled poses, and this is what we came up with.
Here then, the fun photo shoot, which started in a clump of trees close to home and then moved on to the beautiful little village community of Fort Langley … Not bad for a bunch of amateurs, I’d say!
