The real reason I attended a high school graduation

Yesterday I posted some photos from the most recent high school graduation here in town – which took place at the end of June. I got a bit behind on my blogging during summer but I’m catching up. On the more important ones.

But back to the title of this post. Really, I didn’t attend the graduation because I was bored, because I was working for the local newspaper, or because I wanted to check out random graduates graduating (that would be creepy, after all.) I was there to photograph a special friend, someone I have referred to as my twin, and a lass who somehow wormed her way into my heart over the last year and a bit here in Canuckistan.

It was a privilege to photograph and experience her special day, just as I had her sister’s grad a year earlier. Here, a handful or two of the photos a month or two late. 😀
