Sunday snapshots

Last Sunday, my last day in Edmonton where I was visiting friends, we drove down to the North Saskatchewan River valley for a little stroll. And most pleasant a stroll it was too. We parked on the south bank and crossed the bridge just downriver from the Edmonton Queen Riverboat dock. After walking upriver for a bit we stopped for a cup of coffee or six at the little cafe at the River Valley Adventure Company, where some other friends soon joined us. We chatted, tried our hands at riding Segways and photographed cyclists (and other strange people) as the evening meandered towards us.

Here, a few shots from the afternoon.
