About restless natives & random photos

The natives above me have been particularly restless tonight – the little squirt galloping about on her heels back and forth, back and forth: “badaboom badaboom badaboom”.

“Shut up and go to bed right now … and brush your teeth!” bellows her mother from the other side of the house finally.

I hear the little lamb yell a response and then … “Badaboom badaboom badaboom,” she heads towards the bathroom and back in the opposite direction almost immediately.

“If you don’t go to bed immediately I’ll …” I hear her mother shriek hysterically in her direction, the end of her sentence being swallowed up by the floorboards between us. There’s a brief lull, and then, “Thummmp. Kerash. Draaaaaaaaag. Draaaaaaaaag …”

Followed by … a deathly silence. Complete calm.

I imagine the desperate woman may have darted her little angel with a tranquiliser gun.

Whatever the case, I can finally blog in peace …

  1. Lovely them Robin. Now you should probably go to bed too;)! Going for afternoon tea and supper at the Waterstons later today…

  2. Roasting Marshmellows reminds me of how I’m always feeling, when I’m supposed to be having fun. The Coca-Cola pic reminds me of when Brad Pitt used to stick baby bottles in his back pocket too.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Please leave a comment with your (relevant & reverent) thoughts.
